Men, i need your input please women too!! ?

Again its either denial or not the right time but god knows if it is just an open relationship which wasnt made official.. :) but this guy likes me n i like him endless countless dinners, movies, time spent together, we even travels together ALot! N few days we were on separate travel plan i was with my girlfrens n he was alone.. N only on d last day he tried calling me thru viber coz he is still in that third world country, wifi finally but i was aslp due to fever. N upon touch dwn he texted me w/o me asking n then i replied welcome bc n he replied" i need mcdonalds im hungry!" so i said go n eat" n then no msgs came thru 18mins later he texted n asked " miss me? Hehehe" n i seriously missed him n answered " i do n do u miss me" he replied "u?no" then i replied "darn i shouldnt hv missed u" n he replied " i miss u as much as i miss mcdonalds".... So am i right to say he misses me as much as i miss him??
